So i've come to a realization after talking to a few melee DPS.
Last night we stressed that the ranged cannot cast if they have unchained magic in phase 3 due to the fact that Instability + Mystic Buffet = death.
What I realized we did NOT stress and some were not aware (thanks pack awesome leadership
) of was the melee debuff Permeating Chill which also continues into phase 3.
Now what i thought was healers not rotating dropping stacks of Mystic Buffet and letting people die might in fact have been melee getting wrecked by Permeating Chill.
This debuff gives the melee 1k damage done ever 2 seconds that plus the 20% damage increase in phase 3 = Me: "OMG WHY ARE ALL THE MELEE DYING AHHH ZOMG ZOMG WTF THEY'RE ALL DEAD WAAAAAAH...QQ"
....so...........fixing this? I have never played melee so I'm not going to pretend to know if this is randomly cast on melee like unchained magic or not. All I've found in my BRIEF research is don't go past 3 stacks of this. aka don't punch the boss after 3 stacks of permeating chill in phase 3.
man. if a few of our melee knew about this that 10% shot would have been ours for the taking.
Other than that. Great few attempts last night on her. We got her next week. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
*edit: There is a 20% chance per hit on the boss to gain the Permeating Chill
